Hi, I'm Jessie. I'm a stylist.
Why might I wear a haircut cape?
A haircut cape is a big covering that goes over your clothes to keep hair off. The stylist puts the cape on you before starting the haircut. Sometimes a soft paper strip or a towel goes around your neck first, under the cape.
The cape might feel smooth or slippery against your skin. The part around your neck can feel different from your regular clothes. It might feel snug so no hair can get inside. Everyone feels things in their own way.
You can tell your grown-up or the stylist how the cape feels on your body. Saying "This feels tight" helps them know if it needs to be looser.
After the haircut is done, the stylist takes the cape off. You might feel little hairs on your neck that can tickle.
Thanks for watching!
