Hi, I'm Krupa. I'm an aquatics supervisor.
Why do I need a life jacket?
A life jacket is a vest that helps you float. It helps keep your head above the water. Wave pools and lazy rivers can get deep, and waves can push you around.
Some water parks ask kids under a certain height to wear one. A lifeguard or your grown-up might help you find one that fits. You can hold your arms out while the straps get buckled and pulled snug.
Then you walk into the water, and the jacket helps you bob with the waves.
