Hi, I'm Dean. I'm a court monitor.
Why do I have to wear the special socks?
Trampoline parks often ask jumpers to wear special socks with rubber grips on the bottom. The grips help your feet hold on to the mats and padded edges. That makes slipping less likely.
Shoes can scuff and wear down trampoline mats. Bare feet can get sweaty and slippery. Socks also help keep the mats clean for everyone. You can pull your socks up snugly before you start jumping.
When you finish jumping, you put your shoes back on.
