Transcript

Hi, I'm Ato, a riding instructor.

What happens on my first riding day?

On a first riding day, you meet the instructor, the helpers and the horse. You usually put on a riding helmet first.

Then you get on, often from a ramp or a step called a mounting block. A horse leader and helpers called side walkers might walk with you. You can tell a helper if you want to stop or slow down. As the horse walks, you might play a simple game.

At the end, you get down with help and might say goodbye to the horse.

Thanks for watching!
