Transcript

Hello, my name is Kartar. I'm a shoe fitter.

Why do they measure my feet?

Measuring your feet shows which shoe size fits best. Feet grow as kids grow, so an old size might not fit anymore.

Many stores use a flat metal tool marked with sizes. You stand on it with your heel against the back. Stand tall, with your weight on both feet. The fitter checks where your longest toe lines up with the marks. A sliding part also measures how wide your foot is.

Then the fitter brings out shoes in that size to try on.

Thanks for watching!
