Hello, my name is Mafalda Godinho. I'm a real estate agent.
What happens at a first meeting with an agent?
A first meeting with a real estate agent is mostly a talk about your goals, budget, timing and the areas you like. The agent often explains how buying or selling works where you live.
Buyers may also be asked about mortgage preapproval. Many agents ask buyers to sign a written agreement before touring homes, which spells out the agent's services and pay. For sellers, the agent often visits the home and compares recent nearby sales to suggest a listing price.
Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your service. This is general information, not personal instructions. Your agent can explain what applies to your own move.
Thanks for watching.
