Transcript

Hi, I'm Dario, a photographer.

Why is the flash so bright?

A studio flash makes a big burst of light as the picture is taken. A camera needs lots of light to make a clear picture. Indoors, there is much less light than outside in the sun.

The flash adds that extra light. Studios often aim it into a big umbrella to spread the light and soften shadows.

Take a slow breath and look at the camera. If the bright light bothers your eyes, you can tell your grown-up.

Thanks for watching!
