Transcript

Hello, my name is Brendan Minihane. I'm an aftercare coordinator.

What aftercare options are there?

Pet aftercare providers usually offer communal and private cremation. In a communal cremation, several pets are cremated together, and the ashes are not returned. In a private cremation, a pet is cremated alone, and the family receives its ashes.

Ashes often come back in a simple container or an urn the family picks. Many providers also offer keepsakes, such as a clay paw print or a clipping of fur. Some also offer pickup from a veterinary clinic or a home.

Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your service. This is general information, not personal instructions. Your provider can explain which choices apply to your pet.

Thanks for watching.
