Hello, my name is Kwabena Asante. I'm a house manager.

How do tickets and seating work?

Tickets for a performance are usually sold online, by phone and at the box office. At most venues, each ticket is for an assigned seat, shown as a section, row and seat number. Prices often differ by section.

Seating areas may include the main floor, sometimes called the orchestra, and one or more balconies above it. Staff at the doors check tickets, and ushers help guests find their seats. Many venues seat latecomers only at a suitable break in the performance.

Call the venue if you have questions about your visit. This is general information, not personal instructions. Your venue's box office can explain how tickets and seating work there.

Thanks for watching.
