Hello, my name is Jad. I'm a passport acceptance agent.
What is a passport?
A passport is a small book or card that shows who you are. It also shows which country you belong to. People use it to travel to other countries and come home again.
The book has a page with your photo, your name and your birthday. When you visit another country, an officer might stamp one of its other pages.
At a passport office, a worker checks your family's papers. If the office takes photos, you can hold still and look at the camera. Then the worker snaps your picture.
Thanks for watching!
