Hello, my name is Folasade Ogunleye. I'm an optician.
How are frames fitted?
Frame fitting starts with choosing a frame that suits your face and prescription, with the right width, bridge and arm length. Measurements include the distance between your pupils and, for bifocals or progressives, how high each eye sits in the frame.
When the glasses are ready, the optician adjusts them on your face. Plastic frames may be warmed so they can be bent. The arms and any nose pads are shaped to help the glasses sit level and stay in place.
Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your care. This is general information, not personal instructions. Your optician can explain the choices for your own prescription.
Thanks for watching.
