Hello, my name is Wiremu Tipoki. I'm a nurse.
When can we visit, and how do we sign in?
A visit to a nursing home usually starts at the front desk or main entrance. Many homes welcome visitors throughout the day and evening, and some post suggested visiting hours.
Visitors usually sign in on a sheet or a screen, and some homes give out a visitor badge. You might be asked to clean your hands or answer a few health questions. At night, the front door is often locked, so visitors might ring a bell to be let in.
Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your service. This is general information, not personal instructions. The home's staff can explain how visits work there.
Thanks for watching.
