What does a day rehab program look like?

A day rehab program offers several kinds of therapy in one place during the day, and you sleep at home.

Physical therapy may focus on walking, balance and strength. Occupational therapy often covers everyday tasks, such as dressing or cooking. Speech therapy may work on talking, swallowing, memory and thinking. Some sessions are one on one, and others may be in small groups. Goals are usually set with you and your family, and the therapists often meet to review progress.
