Transcript

Hello, my name is Ms. Ravenell. I'm a music teacher.

What happens at my first music lesson?

A first music lesson often happens in a small room with a teacher. The teacher might ask what kinds of songs you like.

Then the teacher often shows you the parts of the instrument and how it makes sound. You can watch and listen to the teacher closely. Then you might try playing a few notes. Some teachers clap a beat and have you clap it back.

At the end, you might play your new notes one more time. Then you say goodbye and head out.

Thanks for watching!
