Hello, my name is Dr. Petrakis. I'm a physician.
What happens at the first visit?
A first visit at a men's health clinic usually focuses on your symptoms, health history and goals. Common topics include energy, sleep, mood, sexual health and the medicines and supplements you take.
A clinician checks your blood pressure and weight and may do a physical exam. A blood sample is often drawn to measure testosterone and other levels, frequently in the morning, when testosterone tends to be highest. Results and options are often reviewed at a follow-up visit.
Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your care. This is general information, not personal instructions. Your clinician can tell you what applies to you.
Thanks for watching.
