What happens at a consultation?

A med spa consultation is a planning visit to talk through cosmetic goals before any treatment. A provider, often a nurse or another licensed clinician, asks what you hope to change.

The provider reviews your health history, medicines and allergies, and looks at the skin or area of concern. Photos may be taken to record a starting point. The provider explains possible treatments, how each works, and common risks and side effects. You may be asked to sign consent forms before any treatment.
