Hello, my name is Esperanza Velez. I'm an attendant.
How do the washers and dryers work here?
Laundromat washers and dryers are self-service machines, paid for at each machine or at a central pay station. Payment may be coins, a laundry card, a credit card or a phone app.
Washers come in several sizes, and the largest fit bulky items like comforters. You load the clothes, add detergent, choose a cycle and temperature, then start the machine. Front-loading washers are made for high-efficiency detergent, which many laundromats sell. Dryers run for a set time per payment.
Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your service. This is general information, not personal instructions. The people who run your laundromat can explain how its machines work.
Thanks for watching.
