Hello, my name is Mr. Mensah. I'm a city clerk.
Which office or window handles what I need?
City halls and county buildings often split their work among separate offices, each with its own counter. A clerk's office often keeps records and issues licenses, a permit office handles building permits, and a treasurer or tax office takes payments.
Which services belong to the city and which to the county differs from place to place. Many buildings post a list of offices near the door, and some have a front desk where staff point people the right way.
Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your service. This is general information, not personal instructions. Staff at your local office can explain what applies to your own request.
Thanks for watching.
