Who can answer plant care questions?
Plant care questions at a garden center usually go to staff in the plant areas or at a help desk. Many staff members know local growing conditions, and some have horticulture training or a nursery certification.
A photo, the plant tag or a leaf sealed in a bag can show what is happening with a plant. Staff often ask about sunlight, watering and soil before suggesting options. Some garden centers also hold workshops on planting, pruning and container gardens.
