Hello, my name is Young-mi Ahn. I'm a pantry coordinator.
Who can get food here, and do we register first?
Food pantries give free food to people who need it, and who can come differs from place to place. Some serve anyone who comes, while others serve people in a set area or ask about income.
Many pantries ask first-time visitors to register with a name, an address and household size. Some also ask for an ID or proof of address. Registration often happens at the first visit, at an intake table or desk.
Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your service. This is general information, not personal instructions. The volunteers and staff at your pantry can explain what applies to your household.
Thanks for watching.
