Hello, my name is Malia Leota. I'm a florist.

How does same-day delivery work?

Same-day delivery means a florist arranges and delivers flowers on the day you order them. Florists that offer it usually set a daily cutoff time, and orders placed before it can often go out that day.

The florist takes the recipient's name, address and phone number, plus a card message. If a flower runs out, the florist can talk with you about a substitute. A driver then brings the flowers to a home, workplace or hospital. Delivery areas and fees vary, and busy holidays can fill up early.

Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your service. This is general information, not personal instructions. Your florist can explain what applies to your own order.

Thanks for watching.
