Transcript

Hello, my name is Henry. I'm an arcade attendant.

How do I start a game?

Many arcades use a plastic game card to start the games. A grown-up often adds credits to the card at a machine or the front counter.

Games often have a small card reader on the front. You tap or swipe your card, and the screen shows the game is ready. Some games use tokens or coins instead. You can read the screen or ask your grown-up which button to press. Then you might press start and play.

When the game ends, some games print tickets or add them to your card.

Thanks for watching!
