How do glasses help eyes see?
To see things, light goes into your eyes. The front parts of your eye bend the light to help you focus. This light lands on a part at the back of your eye called the retina. The retina sends signals to your brain that become the pictures you see.
Sometimes an eye's shape makes it hard for light to focus in the right place. When this happens, things can look blurry. Everyone's eyes are a little bit different from each other. So some eyes need help to focus light correctly.
Glasses have lenses that are held in place by frames. The lenses help your eyes bend light in just the right way. This makes the light focus correctly on the retina at the back of your eye. Doing this helps you see things more clearly.
Each person's eyes are different, so people need their own glasses. Someone else's glasses might make things look blurry for you.
Thanks for watching!
