Hello, my name is Donna Grabowski. I'm a program manager.

What happens during a typical day?

A disability day program is a place where people with disabilities spend the day doing activities with staff support. Many programs follow a daily schedule, sometimes shown with pictures.

People often arrive by van or bus. Activities can include art, music, cooking, exercise and practice with everyday skills like shopping or handling money. Lunch is often eaten together, with staff helping anyone who needs it. Many programs also plan outings to parks, libraries, stores or volunteer jobs.

Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your service. This is general information, not personal instructions. Your program's staff can tell you what applies to you.

Thanks for watching.
