Hello, my name is Seamus Hurley. I'm an instructor.

How does a school salon work?

A school salon is where cosmetology or barber students serve real clients as part of their training. Licensed instructors supervise the floor and often check the work at key steps.

A visit usually starts with a short form at the front desk. A student then talks with you about the service, and an instructor may approve the plan before work begins. Because of these checks, a service may take longer than at other salons.

Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your service. This is general information, not personal instructions. The school's instructors can explain what applies to your own visit.

Thanks for watching.
