Hello, my name is Dr. Golzari. I'm a surgeon.

What happens at a consultation?

A cosmetic surgery consultation is a meeting to talk through a procedure you are considering, before anything is scheduled. It usually takes place with the surgeon, sometimes along with a nurse or coordinator.

The surgeon asks about your goals, health history, medicines, supplements and smoking. They examine the area and often take photos for your record. They then explain the options that may fit, how recovery usually goes and the possible risks. Costs are often reviewed as well.
