Hello, my name is Dr. Sepanta. I'm a supervising dentist.
What is the dental van?
A dental van is a dentist office on wheels. It drives to places like schools, so kids can get care close by.
Inside, there is often a dental chair, a bright light and small tools. You might climb a few steps to get in. You can open wide and rest your hands in your lap. Then the dentist or hygienist checks your teeth with a small mirror. Your teeth might also get cleaned or painted with fluoride.
At the end, a note often goes home to your grown-up.
