Transcript

Hello, my name is Henrique Vaz. I'm a colon hydrotherapist.

What happens during a session?

A colon hydrotherapy session uses warm, filtered water to rinse the large intestine through a small tube placed in the rectum. It usually begins with health questions, since some conditions make a session unsuitable.

You lie on a treatment table, covered by a gown or sheet. Depending on the system, either the therapist or you place a small, usually disposable tube a short way into the rectum. Water flows in at low pressure and then drains out, carrying waste with it, often several times.

Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your care. This is general information, not personal instructions. Your therapist can tell you what applies to you.

Thanks for watching.
