Hi, I'm Marcus. I'm a patient educator.
Who are the people helping at a hospital?
In the hospital, many people work together to take care of you. You might meet different helpers, and they all have their own jobs.
Doctors find out why you are not feeling well, and they make a plan to help you. A doctor might be a specialist who knows a lot about one part of the body. Nurses help you every day with what you need. They might give you medicine or check how you are doing.
Other helpers might bring your food or help keep your room clean. Some people might do tests, like taking a picture of your insides. Therapists may also visit you to help your body move more easily. Some helpers are good at explaining things or helping you with your feelings.
The people who take care of you can change from day to day. A new person might come into your room to help. If you do not know who someone is, you can ask them about their job.
Thanks for watching!
