Hello, my name is Hansa Trivedi. I'm a family service counselor.
How do we find where someone is buried?
Most cemeteries keep burial records that show where each grave is, often by section, row or lot number. The cemetery office can look up a name and share a map or directions.
A full name and any known dates make the search easier. Some cemeteries also have an online search or a map at the entrance. In memorial parks, grave markers often lie flat in the grass, so they can be hard to spot from a distance.
Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your service. This is general information, not personal instructions. Cemetery staff can explain what applies to your own visit.
Thanks for watching.
