Hello, my name is Romeo Galang. I'm a counter agent.
Why does renting need a driver’s license and a payment card?
A rental counter checks a driver's license and a payment card before handing over the keys. The license shows the driver is allowed to drive. The card pays for the rental and can cover later costs such as fuel, tolls or damage.
The agent usually checks that the names on the license, card and booking match. Many companies also place a hold on the card for the expected cost, then release it after the car is returned.
Call the office if you have questions about your visit or your service. This is general information, not personal instructions. Your rental agent can explain what applies to your own rental.
Thanks for watching.
