Hello, my name is Rahel Tadesse. I'm a gardener.
What is in bloom right now?
The flowers in bloom at a botanical garden change with the seasons and differ by region. In much of the country, spring brings tulips, daffodils and flowering trees such as cherries and magnolias. Summer often brings roses and water lilies, and fall brings asters, mums and changing leaves.
In winter, gardens with a glasshouse or conservatory often keep orchids and other tropical plants in flower. Many gardens also post a list of what is blooming, online or near the entrance.
Call the garden if you have questions about your visit. This is general information, not personal instructions. Your garden's staff can tell you what is in bloom for your own visit.
Thanks for watching.
