Hi, I'm Coach Sharon, an archery coach.

What happens at my first archery lesson?

A first archery lesson starts with the range rules. The coach shows the shooting line and the waiting line behind it. You might wear an arm guard on the arm that holds the bow.

Next, the coach shows how the bow works, and you try it with help. You can listen for the coach's signal before each step. Everyone shoots at the targets only when the coach says so.

When everyone is done, the coach says it is safe to collect the arrows. Then the group walks to the targets together.
