Hi, I'm Uwe. I'm a course guide.
Why do I wear a harness?
A harness is a set of strong straps around your waist and legs. It connects you to a safety line that runs along the course above you.
Before you climb, a staff member usually helps fit your harness and checks the buckles. You might practice on a low course first. You can listen closely as a guide shows how the clips work.
Up in the trees, the line can hold you if you slip. At the end, you come down and take off the harness.
Thanks for watching!
